Nishad is currently in second grade (Roll No. 7) at Monnapara Government Primary School in Bangladesh. She lives in a small village in Panchagarh with her mother, grandparents, and younger sister. Sadly, her father passed away in a recent accident. Her mother, Rikta, now cares for the children with the support of their grandfather, who works hard as a poultry farmer to provide for the family.
